The Burnaby Minor Hockey Association is hosting its 1st Annual "A4K" Charity Midget "A" Hockey Tournament this season.  The tournament will take place between March 19 and 23, 2012 and will be open to Midget AAA and AA teams.  All proceeds from the tournament will be directed to the "Athletics for Kids" (A4K) organization, who provide financial assistance to deserving B.C. families who want to involve their children in sports.  Please visit their website at www.a4k.ca for further information about this very worthwhile charity.
Tournament games will be played at City of Burnaby arenas and the Burnaby 8-Rinks.

WE NEED A NAME!

Since its formation forty-seven years ago in 1964, the Burnaby Minor Hockey Association has established itself as one of the most respected members of the amateur sports community in British Columbia.  Proud of our past … confident in our future. This truly sums up the spirit of the Burnaby Minor Hockey Association!

It’s hard to believe, but over these forty-seven years, the BMHA has NEVER had a formal nick-name.  We think it’s about time that we established our own identity and we want everyone to be a part of this process.  We want to select a name that is original, exciting and something that all BMHA teams will be proud of!  Here’s the chance to put on your creative “thinking caps” and come up with a name that will become our “official” Association nickname.  All BMHA teams will use this name, so we want to make sure that it is something that all of our players … from beginner to Juvenile … will wear with pride!
